Twenty years ago, John and I operated a family restaurant in West Hill named “Choices Restaurant, we offered a fresh, healthy, nutritious alternative to the local cuisine. It was at this time that we were approached by the local child care community to provide lunch and snacks to their centres. The caterers of the time considered jello a healthy choice! This was definitely one of those life altering moments. Our path diverged, instead of feeding families we decided to focus on feeding children healthy, nutritious, fresh food, no more jello.

So you can say that the children choose us!

In 1998, Choice Childrenʼs Catering Limited moved to our current location at 103 Manville Rd. The single occupancy building was constructed in 1963 of concrete block and steel and has the floor area of 10,000 square feet. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency guidelines for Federally Registered Food Plants were used including lists of approved construction materials and facility design. Specifications were incorporated into improvements and satisfies CFIA code.
